Our company is having a calling all hands push today. A Major (and pretty exciting) employer in the South Bay here in N. CA has asked us to hire 200 upbeat and enthusiastic recruiters and sourcers for them — by next week. We have interviews scheduled but need more top notch qualified individuals that would be interested – hoping you can spread the word. I have attached the message from our VP heading the project below. A call or email with a qualified person should net them an interview today through the weekend sometime. In N. CA it will be at our Redwood Shores location; other countries / states handled off site. Positions are onsite – no work from home.
Here are the brief details:
70%(+-) will need to already live in the bay area of N. CA
Rest will come from and report at locations in:
NY, New York
Boulder, Colorado
Kirkland, WA
Tokyo, Japan
Beijing, China
Sidney, Australia
Zurich, Switzerland
Dublin, Ireland
London, UK
VERY competitive Pay Scale – 1 year contract.
Enthusiastic, upbeat, ‘go-getter’, savvy, process based personalities
Current assignments:
Experienced Recruiter (minimum 5 years total in both corporate and/or agency recruiting) – Technical, Sales, Product Marketing. Recruiting experience on resume in ’09.
Recruiters (minimum 4 years recent exp) – Candidate sourcing
Sourcers (minimum 3 years solid recent exp) – Ability to reach passive candidates – exceptionally internet savvy
Recruiting Coordinators – (minimum 2 years in an HR support or Recruiting Support role) – heavy scheduling, process management
These contract positions require onsite presence Monday – Friday (40 hours). The majority are in our clients Mid Peninsula location.
Environment is high tech
Location is Mid Peninsula – San Francisco Bay Area
Contract on-boarding Oct 2009 – Jan 2010. Hiring / Interview process – Phase 1 THIS WEEK and WEEKEND!

UPDATES:
I spoke today with a Google recruiter. He says where he is in Mountain View he has neither seen nor heard of any sourcers or recruiters being hired/interviewed. Doesn’t mean they haven’t been, just he hasn’t seen/heard of them. He says they really need the sourcers….I have also not heard so far of folks getting past the interview- with-the-agency stage. Again, doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened, just I haven’t heard about it…
