Bill Vick has a special place in the heart of “Six Degrees…” – he was one of the very first to notice my blog, give it esteemed mention, and evaluate its positions. He’s a certifiable LinkedIn “Rock Star” and it was one of my more excitable moments as a Blogging newbie to have our site noticed by “Thee Bill Vick.” LinkedIn continues to provide Bill with value and he’s consistently amazed at how it has dramatically changed his business for the positive.

Bill values his Linkedin relationships and he kept “Six Degrees” in the loop on four things he’s doing that may be able to help you in your business, career or other efforts. To all the honors mentioned, it is my turn to extend kudos with an update on his upcoming road tour and allude to the Vickism’s that maximize your social relationship networking for talent capabilities, and ultimately, financial success. Consider the following:

1 – He’s speaking next Thursday, October 12th, in San Francisco at the NAPS (National Association of Personnel Services) annual conference. If you are planning on being in the area lets try to link up and say hello. He would welcome the opportunity of saying hello in person. His topic is “Big Billers” and detailing how recruiters earn in excess of a million dollars per year.

2 – His first book, written with Des Walsh, titled “LinkedIn For Recruiting,” has moved into the best seller category and continues to generate buzz and comments from Recruiters on a day in day out basis. For more information visit here.

3 – His second book, “LinkedIn For Job Hunters,” is on target for release in late November. Information, along with a free mini-course on using LinkedIn is available for download at

4 – The third book, also written with Des Walsh, is simply titled Big Billers. The Big Biller book shows how the top recruiters, those billing one million dollars or more per year, are doing it. It insider tips, techniques and tools just not available anywhere else. Pre sales registration is now available online here.

I strongly recommend putting all his books on your must read list if you want to learn how to extend and optimize the value of your LinkedIn relationships. It’s a text book for recruiters that’s a primer on leveraging your network.

Please update Bill on what is happening in your part of the word. He’d like to include any news about you, your use of LinkedIn (or other Networks), along with any comments you would like to share in one of his upcoming books. Bill wants to hear from you!
