Thanks Jim and Jay Dee for the honor 🙂
by James Durbin, Recruiting.com Newsletter

“One of the early characteristics of blogging was the openness of the bloggers. Gaining trust was accomplished by giving important details about who you were and what you thought. Just as in the real world, opening up to your virtual friends helped form a bond with readers who came to feel they knew you, though they had never met you. Blogging, was networking writ large, which is perhaps why Dave Mendoza has taken so well to the medium. His blog, Six Degrees from Dave, is an extension of his life-long pursuit of networking. Want some personal details?

My wife, Heidi is a native of Finland and recently earned her citizenship to the U.S. We are the proud parents to two wonderful children: our son ‘Valentino,’ (Tino) 14 years old, and our 3.5 months, infant daughter, ‘Siena Blue.’ Dog lovers, we support animal shelter causes and add sound effects and love to our own home with two yapping Pomeranians, Reagan & Nala.

In a world where so many businesses seek to keep secrets about who their people are, Dave lays it all on the table. Read his blog, and tell me you don’t trust him just a little bit more, knowing that he has to stand behind anything he says. Welcome to trust in the blogosphere.”

And Dave is a BIG fan of Jason Davis & Jim Durbin. Jay Dee made recruiting.com into a portal and upon doing so, opened a flood gate of new aspirants into the blogospere.

Jason Davis has taught me much about community as much as I have shared about networking. Together, such components lend strength to the efforts of so many talented people that have built Blogging For Talent into more than a catch phrase and into reality.

I lucked out to have so many talented friends who make me laugh.:)
