CollegeRecruiter.com has just launched a new Facebook application that allows Facebook users to search their database of hundreds of thousands of internships and entry level jobs from within Facebook.

CollegeRecruiter.com is the first major college job board to do so. http://www.collegerecruiter.com/weblog/archives/2007/07/tasty_cheese.php . To visit and view the Facebook app Click Here.

If you’re not signed up for FaceBook yet, you should be. When you do, request a link from my good friend, renown speaker, king of witticisms himself, Steven Rothberg, and mark him as a friend and he’ll gladly do so. That will open up his network to you. I click and Waahaaa, I am instantly in and chain of connections with industry giants like Joel Cheesman, Kevin Wheeler, and Milli Villini etc. (Yes, Steven Rotherberg is that well connected!)

STEVEN ROTHBERG’s BIO

“President and Founder of CollegeRecruiter.com, a leading job board for college students who are searching for interns and recent graduates with zero to three years of experience for are looking for entry level positions. Unlike most of our competitors, CollegeRecruiter.com is used by students at all schools (not just those from certain schools) AND recent graduates (many of our competitors are almost exclusively used by currently enrolled students). CollegeRecruiter.com is part of a network of 11,000 niche career sites, the vast majority of which target candidates by their geographic location and occupational fields so we have more traffic than any other college job board. In fact, we have a targeted email and cell phone text messaging (SMS) database of 120 million candidates, of which 8.5 million are students and recent graduates, and we can target them using any combination of up to 700 fields of data, including geographic location (right down to the zip), school, year in school, years since graduation, GPA, major, diversity, hobbies and interest, experience, and more.”

I just used trendpedia.com to get a buzz comparison across the leading business networks including Linkedin, Ecademy, Rise, Soflow, Xing no second guessing Linkedin dominated the buzz with a share of 89%.
