Louise Triance is the equivalent of a Jason Davis in the American recruitment blogosphere and industry community – “across the pond in her own “UK Recruiter community. Her brand and resources offered are substantial, consisting of the UK Recruiter portal website, blog, organizing networking events for recruiters via the UK Recruiter community, an industry discussion board and weekly email newsletter. She previously worked for a Berkshire based Search & Selection firm for eight years. Louise is British Psychological Society level A & B trained and has experience of wide variety of psychometric and aptitude products as well as development of assessment centers.

Inspired by the RecruitingBlogs.com Awards contest, Louise has organized something similar for the UK recruitment blog market. As she only decided this yesterday she remarks, “We sadly have no sponsors offering an all expenses paid trip to Vegas (transferring the concept to the UK would that be an all expenses paid trip to Blackpool?!). However, the winner will be able to take away that warm feeling you get when your peers recognize your talent. I’ll also pop a box of Stollen in the post to the winner.”
The world is getting smaller with Big ideas.Amazing how Jason Davis had this little idea to start a recruiting blog portal called Recruiting.com which morphed into a community of recruiters and is now on his latest endeavor at RecruitingBlogs.com which has exploded to nearly 1,000 members of the recruitment industry – now his ideas continue globally in the form of a box of Stollen from Britain’s sweetheart of the recruitment industry.
We all know Louise has been doing this for so many years and developed such an extensive network globally, that she is a celebrity in her own right with much to teach us about the industry she is passionate about and the community building she has developed. Sincerely stated, I am a big fan.
