“El Dave” – New Articles this week on SixDegrees – We Have Returned from “Down Under”!!!
Previously searches on Zoominfo were limited to the typical fields found in most databases: Company, Industry, Geography, Job Title, etc. A new search functionality extends your sourcing scope further into the “context†of where names are found.
Why is this cool and useful?
You can now focus on the keywords found in and around the mention of an individual on press releases, news sites, and the usual Zoominfo sources. What this means is that when you are searching for “Mechanical Engineers†you can now specify Robotics for example and find people who are Mechanical Engineers but mentioned in the context of a page or article about robotics.
Given that most people don’t get that specific in their job titles (for example Robotics Mechanical Engineer) this means we can narrow our search based on the proximity of relevant key terms. What it comes down to is efficiency via filtering. You no longer have to read and/or guess the context of the original page in order to ascertain your prospect is in the correct industry.
